Halifax Day

Today sees the celebration of a custom awareness event that took place in Halifax, North Carolina in 1776. On this day, the Halifax Resolves, which was the first official call made by any of the colonies for independence from Great Britain, was unanimously passed in a vote by North Carolina's delegates to the Continental Congress. This empowered the delegates to agree with other colonial delegates in any matter that would see a declaration of independence arise. So to celebrate the first motions made towards the creation of one of the most influential nations in history, why not show your pride with some promotional patriotic products!
