Button Day

Today, November 16th, is Button Day. Take this time to honor and recognize the humble button, so simple yet so important to our lives. Where would we be without the red button, not to be pushed under any circumstances?

If you've ever worn a button-down shirt, winter jacket, pair of pants, or any sort of corporate ensemble, you're intimately familiar with buttons. Today, bask in your new-found awareness of these fasteners' importance, for without them, our apparel would be a sorry mess of flimsy snaps and busted zippers. True fanatics can join the National Button Society and obsess over buttons all year round.

If that's not your idea of fun, promotional buttons with your choice of message are a lot more interesting than simple clothing buttons, especially buttons that light up. They deserve a place of honor in today's celebration. While you're at it, why not press all the buttons on the electronic devices in your home? Those buttons need appreciation too. Just don't touch the red one. Seriously. We're warning you.
