National Egg Nog Month

December is always National Egg Nog Month. Egg nog is a rich frothy textured sweet beverage made from milk, cream, sugar, beaten eggs and garnished with cinnamon and nutmeg.

Egg nog is definitely one of those celebratory drinks but the beverage can be enjoyed anytime during the year, especially by children who like the sweet taste of the drink. Adult nog drinkers are particularly fond of the drink’s alcoholic versions made with liquor like brandy, rum, whiskey, sake or cognac.
