"Is There Some Reason My Coffee Isn't Here? Has She Gone to Rwanda for the Beans?"
Known for their willingness to perform mundane filing tasks, to work for little to no money, and their superior coffee fetching skills, the life of an intern isn’t always the most exciting (or so the media from time to time informs us). The point is, interns are important at any office, and so that’s why there’s a celebration for them, outrageous holiday Intern Appreciation Day.
On this zany holiday, let your intern get their OWN cup of coffee as opposed to getting YOUR cup of coffee! Just kidding! Celebrate this whacky holiday with a nice treat or two, like brownies or chocolate as well as a heart-felt “I appreciate you,” which are all nice gestures. Take 21+ year old interns out for a drink of appreciation (this will be a well received gesture I can assure you)! Just remember, interns are people! Use today’s weird holiday to take the time and remember that!
