Are you having one of those days where you feel fine? You know, physically and mentally, everything is in good shape, but for whatever reason, you don't feel like going to work? You're in luck, because it is Stay at Home Because You're Well Day, which is surprisingly self-explanatory. It's a day that will be particularly appreciated by people who played hookie in their younger days (that is, they felt fine, but skipped school anyway). Ah, the memories.
Now, I am not advocating skipping work. No, this is a day about being honest. Call your place of work and say "I need the day off, because I'm feeling really well." Your employers will be so appreciative of your blatant honesty that they will fully support your glorified mental health day. Since this is a communally celebrated day, have some promotional popcorn ready for all of the movie-watching and catching up that you will be doing with other employees that are feeling too well to go to work!

They Must Be Having A Bad Day ("Have A Bad Day" Day)

Here is a holiday everyone can have fun with. We hear this all the time, every retail store we visit and every phone call we make we have to say it. The famous line "Have a Nice Day". Don't you wish for one day you could avoid saying it. Doesn't it get on your nerves after awhile.
Well today you are saved. Today you can actually wish someone a bad day. Of course, providing top-level customer service is important, but for fun instead of saying, "Have a nice day," you can say, "Have a bad day." To keep in the spirit of good customer service send an apology note to all those customers along with promotional puzzles and I am sure they will no longer be puzzled at your rudeness.
Oh! and HAVE A BAD DAY!

Tellabrate Good Times, COME ON! (Tellabration!)

Tellabration! is a weekend-long festival for storytelling enthusiasts. It falls on the weekend before Thanksgiving, and people get together and tell engaging stories. This whole upcoming week is about togetherness...eating good food, reading tantalizing tales together in front of a burning fireplace with mugs of piping hot cocoa clutched between eager hands of avid listeners...it's all so beautiful!
Tellabrating today is a great way to get together with friends and family. If you will be in the office for awhile telling stories can be a great team building experience. You can join in on the Tellabration! with some promotional Dr. Seuss Books, and serve green eggs and ham for breakfast, while you role-play lines from the books!

Earn your wings!..literarily speaking (I Love to Write Day)

Today marks the sixth anniversary of "I Love to Write Day." Created by Delaware author, John Riddle, "I Love to Write Day" celebrates the beauty of expressing yourself on paper. We all write everyday. We write reminders for ourselves, and we jot down notes in class or when we go to meetings. How many of us can say we use our creative side everyday to write about our interests, inspirations, or dreams?
Today gives people of all ages the opportunity to write something, anything; a poem, an essay, a letter to someone you love, or a short story. You can even choose to read a book! Read it from the beginning to the very end. Today is the day to spread your literary wings and fly. The possibilities are endless!
Encourage the writer in everyone with imprinted pens, and realize the worth of your words with promotional journals.
Today may be "I Love to Write Day," but everyday should be a day where you express your inner feelings. Sometimes we go through out our day so hastily that we forget ourselves. Take a 5-minute breather to jot down how you feel, how was your day, who did you meet, what did you do, before long, you'll find yourself developing a deeper connection to you. Everyday is another day to turn it all around. Why not start today?!

National American Teddy Bear Day
![redwhiteblue[1].jpg](http://testimonials.epromos.com/redwhiteblue%5B1%5D.jpg)
Today is Ted's 102nd birthday. That's right, he's actually older than your grandmother. These cuddly, snuggly plush toys have long been an American favorite.
So how do you celebrate his birthday. Just by remembering your favorite teddy bear moments and sharing them with someone else, maybe with your child. This is a great time to give the kids and other loved ones in your life a teddy bear as a way of bonding and encouraging memorable times together.
Promotional teddy bears and teddy bear-related products are a great way to give tribute to Teddy.

Strongest, Longest, Smallest, Tallest (Guinness World Records Day)

Guinness World Records Day is one big shout out to those awesome(crazy) people in the world who belittle boundaries, who laugh at limits. The most amazing thing about the Guinness Book of world Records, which was first published in 1955, is that it's filled with "normal" people...the next door neighbor type who take it upon themselves to achieve greatness.
You don't have to be recognized in the book in order to win that superlative title. In fact, I believe that personalized promotional awards are at least more tangible than a quick mention in a book. Yes, you can touch the book, I know, but it's more dramatic to raise a triumphant (and shiny) award above your head than to gloat over a page in a book. Think about it.

Rhythm and Blues (Saxophone Day- Adolphe Sax Birth Anniversary)

On November 6th, some time during the 1800's, a Belgian guy named Adolphe Sax invented the saxophone and the saxtromba (never heard of that one). Musician and handyman - what a catch, right ladies? Sax's passion for music and inventing turned out to complement each other, bringing him fame and fortune...until he eventually went bankrupt.
Now, I would urge you to play a sweet tune in remembrance of Mr. Sax's contributions to music and the world, but since most people have not mastered the art of the sax, and there's really nothing worse than bad sax(ophone), how about we make some noise with promotional maracas? He provided the blues, you provide the rhythm!

Gunpowder Treason (Guy Fawkes Day)

Remember,remember the fifth of November
Gunpowder treason and plot;
I see no reason why Gunpowder Treason
Should ever be forgot.
This holiday is set aside in the United Kingdom every November 5th as a day of public thanksgiving. Thankful for what? You might ask.
Conspirators planned to blow up the Houses of Parliament and King James I on November 5, 1605. Twenty barrels of gunpowder were discovered on the eve of the intended detonation. The conspirators were arested. Only eight of them were caught, there were a total of 11 including Guy Fawkes, they were tried and beheaded. Their heads placed on spikes at London Bridge. Guy Fawkes day is still observed, the entire country lights up with bonfires and celebration.
And yes a certain movie had its premise based on this day.
What a great time to use promotional matches.

Epitaphtastic! (Plan Your Epitaph Day)

They say that a forgettable tombstone is a fate worse than death itself. This is the premise of Plan your Epitaph Day. I see what they are getting at, but ultimately, when you're six feet under, being forgettable probably is not at the top of your list of worries. I personally have big plans for a worry-free existence after, you know...it happens. However, since everybody is different, I would encourage the worry-warts of the world to invest in some promotional planners, just to jot down today's notes, ideas, doodles...anything that would look good carved into stone.

Freaky Thursday! (National Men Make Dinner Day)

Finally! A day where women don't have to be in the kitchen slaving away to make a great meal. Today, for one day only, men will make dinner! National Men Make Dinner Day is a perfect day for ladies to kick back, relax, and allow your men to serve you for a change. It's only dinner, so don't get too excited. Only the really nice ones will give you a whole day of pampering.
So, tonight when you get home, kick off your shoes, relax, take a deep breath, and enjoy your dinner! It might only be for one night, but the memory of watching him prepare and serve everything should definitely last a lifetime. Bon Appetit!
P.S. Don't forget to say thank you by giving him one of ePromos' imprinted aprons!
