Today marks the sixth anniversary of "I Love to Write Day." Created by Delaware author, John Riddle, "I Love to Write Day" celebrates the beauty of expressing yourself on paper. We all write everyday. We write reminders for ourselves, and we jot down notes in class or when we go to meetings. How many of us can say we use our creative side everyday to write about our interests, inspirations, or dreams?
Today gives people of all ages the opportunity to write something, anything; a poem, an essay, a letter to someone you love, or a short story. You can even choose to read a book! Read it from the beginning to the very end. Today is the day to spread your literary wings and fly. The possibilities are endless!
Encourage the writer in everyone with imprinted pens, and realize the worth of your words with promotional journals.
Today may be "I Love to Write Day," but everyday should be a day where you express your inner feelings. Sometimes we go through out our day so hastily that we forget ourselves. Take a 5-minute breather to jot down how you feel, how was your day, who did you meet, what did you do, before long, you'll find yourself developing a deeper connection to you. Everyday is another day to turn it all around. Why not start today?!
